Commissioners Court Enacts Burn Ban in Unincorporated Harris County

Harris County, TX, October 16, 2025, Today Harris County Commissioners Court approved a burn ban, effective immediately, for all unincorporated portions of the county at the recommendation of the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office. The ban will last for 90 days or until the Texas Forest Service (TFS) determines that drought conditions no longer exist in Harris County.
