Harris County, TX, March 20, 2026, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and the Greater Houston Partnership (GHP), in collaboration with Houston First and the FIFA World Cup 26™ leadership, is leveraging sports diplomacy to promote economic incentives during the trade mission delegation’s meetings so far in Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands. All three nations will be playing FIFA World Cup 26™ games in Harris County this summer.
